Transformation Moments Post-Quarantine

Our salon doors reopened seven weeks ago and it felt like artists being let back into their studios. The bright, airy front parlor finally felt like itself again with our first clients back in the stylist chairs. Now, seven weeks later, 766 salon services completed (and counting) with ZERO Covid-19 cases and we are loving every minute of reconnecting with you in the safest way possible!

It’s no surprise that #hair was a major sore point during quarantine. It’s one of those fundamental parts of our lives that require maintenance and care. That’s why we’ve been documenting those special transformation moments that have come from these quarantine months. For many of you, your hair grew way past its usual length, your natural roots started to show, and that self-care time that you alloted for yourself out of your busy schedules came to an abrupt stop. These past few weeks, #TransformationTuesday started to feel like everyday at the salon as you returned back and we are so grateful for that. We love seeing your beautiful masked faces!

Here’s a few of our favorite post-quarantaine transformation moments:

We usually meet every 8 weeks. It’s the longest I’ve ever seen her hair. We missed two appointments since her last visit. Reunited and it feels so good. 😍

Make my hair look like I spent the day in the sun!’ Natural highlights to give that summer color and 6 inches cut off because it had been 1.5 years.
— Liz Taillie, Collective Independent Stylist
Shag it up ladies , summer is for texture and layers!
— Melisa Márquez
For short curls or waves the structure can make or break a cut (depending on how things go this cuts structure has endurance and could evolve well in a shutdown if needed). Introduced her to Aveda Light Elements Defining Whip which gives her texture the moldability she can play with!
— Gwenn LeMoine, Principal Stylist
It’s too hot to have hair. She came in and said she was ready for a change so we cut it off. I can’t wait to see it in the natural curl!!
— Imari Dominick
Feeling a little a over grown? We were all in the same boat being unable to get a haircut. Get that spring back into your step…
— Sarah Jones, Principal Stylist
Girl yes!!! Let’s get into this color and the hair flip 😍😍😍 This was such a fun transformation and I’m happy I got to be the one to do it! Pink hair because it makes her feel good.
